Hey everyone, welcome back! This week I decided to review a palette from Envyous Cosmetics, a make up brand based in Brisbane, Australia. This is the Cinnamon Palette:

(I thought I’d quickly mention that none of my reviews are sponsored. I’m working on getting my blog out there, but for now I’m purchasing all these products at full-price with my own money.)

I bought this palette a little while ago, with great hesitation – if any of you know me, you’ll know that I am ALL ABOUT cool tones, so purchasing this palette was really out of my comfort zone. But when it arrived, and I opened the box to see all of this amazing shimmery goodness looking back at me, I knew I would love it. I swatched a few colours on my Instagram, and I played around with warm-tones for a while. The relationship between the pinks and the golds is really, really pretty; they complement each other so nicely, with sunset-peach-glow deliciousness.

I created this look today, picturing a “sunset glow”, but ended up with “peach glam”, which is what I’ve decided to call this look. I used the orange matte shades in the crease, the red shimmery shades on the outer corner and the lower lash line, a gold half-cut-crease on the lid, and finished it off with the light pink shimmery shade on the inner corner.

All of these shades have an excellent consistency; they’re soft, making them very easy to blend, but because of this the shimmer shades lack a bit of pigmentation. They’re all very vibrant, but I found I really needed to build up the shimmer shades to get the effect I was after.

The shadow variety is really good; a lot of these 35-colour palettes have some colours that are a little too similar, but this palette has a beautiful range of oranges, pinks, reds, and golds. There’s even a nude shadow and a white shimmer, and a gorgeous duochrome pink-gold colour.

Overall, I really adore this palette, and all its peachy goodness! I own 3 other palettes from Envyous Cosmetics (Blackout, Naked, and Pretty In Pink), so if you want me to review/swatch those, please let me know!
